At 55% ABV (Alcohol by volume), The End Of History by BrewDog is the strongest beer in the world to date. This beer is served in a bottle wrapped with dead stoats, squirrels or hares. And if you don’t get drunk with the content, maybe the price will get you. Each bottle can be purchased at $762 – also the most expensive in the world. It is made by Scottish brewery BrewDog and only 11 bottles will be available for sale.

This concoction got it’s name from the famous work of philosopher Francis Fukuyama, who defined history as the evolution of the political system and traced this through the ages until we got the Western Democratic paradigm. For him this was the end point of man’s political evolution and consequently the end of history.

The End Of History tops the list of the world’s strongest and most expensive beer. Its nearest competitor, the Schorschbräu Schorschbock only have 43% ABV and is made by Georg Tscheuschner of Schorschbräu brewery in Northern Bavaria – a three time holder of the record.
