Heart Attack Grill will surely send you to the surgeon in no time. This hospital theme restaurant restaurant in Dallas, Texas, where over 350 pound customers eat free, features menus with names you will hear mostly when you are visiting your cardiologist. Their menu includes “Single”, “Double”, “Triple”, and “Quadruple Bypass” hamburgers.
The restaurant was founded by Jon Basso in 2005 with the intent of serving food “so bad for you it’s shocking”, also known as “nutritional pornography”. One of the restaurant’s promotions is a reward for customers who finish a Triple or Quadruple Bypass Burger, after which they are placed on a wheelchair and wheeled out to their vehicle by their staffs dressed in nurse outfit.
Their biggest food on the menu, the Quadruple Bypass Burger has 8,000 calories – that’s equivalent to five days worth of food for an average person. It has been identified as one of the “world’s worst junk foods”. It consists of four half-pound beef patties, eight slices of American cheese, a whole tomato and half an onion served in a bun coated with lard. The restaurant was featured on the Travel Channel on an episode of Extreme Pig-outs.
